Delicious food are more enjoyable, not necessarily expensive, but they need fresh and good ingredients. I cooked a very simple pasta, and it was so delicious, the dressing was only sautéed fresh tomato and fresh herb garlic chives. If we have pasta, we enjoy the pasta on its own, or can be followed by a meat dish which is served with a salad.
Delicious Alsatian Cake
Easter is coming, and I have been trying to a bake rich bread with fruits which is served for Easter. I thought the Alsatian cake would be delicious instead of brioche, as I did last Easter.
I tasted, and it was so delicious, buttery and moist too. It does not look attractive but after it is dusted with icing powder, it looked better. I don’t share the recipe just yet, it is not perfect as I did not have almonds for the garnished. However it was so Delicious to go with black coffee.
Pizza is the most friendly food, everyone likes it. As you like it pizza that I baked the other day, was so delish. We had a delicious pizza when we were in Italy, it was very simple pizza, there were not enough topping I thought, but it was the way they do it over there. Here in Australia we a custom to have a pizza with a lots of topping, to rich and to complicated. So I minimize the topping of my pizzas that I bake. My ‘As you like it Pizza, was a pizza with meat, anchovies and cheese topping.
No it is not the same what we had pizza in Italy, but before our visit the country, I cooked the pizza with more topping and more cheeses too. The pizza base in not very thin, it was thick, soft and fluffy. The combinations of light tomato sauce, anchovies, black olives, sliced Italian meat balls and cheese for the topping, was so Delicious
It is all about home cooking, Delicious food and Delicious Flavours. Use fresh ingredients, prepare with care and love.
Susi Pizza Dough Recipe
2 cups full plain flour
2 teaspoons dried yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar, a pinch of salt and some oil.
Place the flour in a large bowl, make a whole in the centre then plce the yeast, sugar, salt on it
Pour in the warm water, oil, in the centre the mix them together to make soft dough
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth about 5 minutes
Place the dough onto oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and proof it for 1 hour or more until doubled
Punch the dough down, knead it lightly. The dough is ready for further use.
